Portal 

External access

You can now access network applications, documents and e-mail from anywhere outside the School. Please read the instructions below, and click on one of the links:

 

FOR E-MAIL:

You do NOT need to install anything to access your e-mail via Outlook Web Access. You also do NOT have to use the Citrix Portals just to view your e-mails – please simply follow these instructions:

  1. Click on this link:  https://mail.hamptonschool.org.uk/exchange
  2. Internet Explorer 7 & 8 users – when prompted, choose “Continue to this Website”
  3. Internet Explorer 6 users – when prompted, choose “Yes”
  4. Enter your usual NETWORK LOGON and password, as you would at school.

 

FOR THE CITRIX APPLICATION PORTAL:

Please note that we have upgraded and improved the systems over the previous half term break, and any user still experiencing issues should follow the instructions below, under the “Problems Accessing The Portal” heading.

FIRST TIME USER:

Follow these 3 steps carefully
Windows users:

  1.  Download this client: XenApp Web Plugin
  2.  Once the client is installed, CLOSE & RESTART your Internet Browser
  3.  Return to THIS page and click on this link: https://portal.hamptonschool.org.uk
  4. Enter your usual NETWORK LOGON details, as you would at school.

Mac users: MacICA_OSX.dmg   (this is currently undergoing testing - Feb 09we would welcome any feedback)

RETURNING USER:

Click here: https://portal.hamptonschool.org.uk


PROBLEMS ACCESSING THE PORTAL:

Please try the following steps:

  1. Uninstall any and all previous versions of the Citrix Portal client that you might have on your computer - Windows users > Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
  2. Reboot/restart  your computer
  3. Follow the above procedure for First Time Users
