A Review: 2008 - 2009

Swanage 2005In November sixteen Second Year boys spent a weekend at Tanners Hatch Youth Hostel. During their stay they practised orienteering skills, played a variety of board games and then undertook a morning’s mountain biking in quite testing conditions – it had snowed overnight!

In early February 34 First and Second Year boys spent the day paintballing at the Deepwood centre near Effingham. Once again the group were subjected to very cold snowy conditions.

Swanage 2005Twenty-three Third Year students took part in the annual trip to Snowdonia during the Easter holidays. During the week the students took part in a variety of activities including rock climbing, mountain biking, a day’s hike, orienteering and dry slope skiing.
Eleven Fourth, Fifth and Lower Sixth formers, accompanied by five staff travelled to Sharm el Sheik, for a week’s SCUBA diving in July. Five students successfully completed their Open Water qualification and six completed the Advanced Diver’s qualification
