Hampton School Music Society

Welcome to HSMS

The Hampton School Music Society exists to support the School’s Music Department by assisting at performances and staging events which raise extra funds for the department. It is independent of the School and made up of parents of boys who study and perform music of all kinds.

In the last year the Society has funded the purchase of a new grand piano, tubular bells, and elegant music folders for the Swing Band. We are currently building a fund to kit out our future performing arts centre: the 450th Hall.

The School teaches and performs a wide range of music, from Classical to Rock to World. The aim of the Music Society is to support and enhance the School’s well-deserved reputation for musical excellence and fun.

Boys don’t need to be prodigies to benefit hugely from involvement in music at Hampton: all levels of enthusiasm and accomplishment are nurtured. We also want parents of musicians to feel wanted and comfortable within this vibrant element of school life.
