Hampton School contributes to the local community in a variety of different ways.
Over a hundred Hampton boys, from Fourth Year upwards assist at four local primary schools: Buckingham School and Clarendon School in Hampton, and Crane Park School and Forge Lane School in Hanworth. Boys visit during lunchtimes and each member of the Lower Sixth also does a placement in one of the schools as part of his General Studies course.

students are also involved with the local branch of the charity, Barnardo’s, assisting with a fortnightly activity club for children with special needs in Hounslow on Saturday mornings.
This year we have also been developing links both with Oldfield House, a special referral unit for state school pupils in Hampton area and with Lindon Bennett School for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties in Hanworth. In October our boys joined with the girls from LEH to offer a “Splash and Gym” afternoon for children with special needs.
Hampton organise a joint visit to the Science Museum with children with moderate learning difficulties from Clarendon School, Hampton. We also co-host a Christmas Party for senior citizens.
Hampton School also runs the SHINE Saturday school, for Gifted and Talented students from six local Primary schools. Teaching staff from the school, supported by Sixth Fomers, give lessons in English, Mathematics,

Physics, Chemistry, Art, French & DT.
Sixth Formers take part in a joint Hampton /Lady Eleanor Holles peer-mentoring scheme to assist Teddington School students gain improved GCSE grades in English and Mathematics.
Our Second Year pupils also officiate at the Richmond Borough Primary Schools’ Indoor Athletics Championships held in our Sports Hall in April.
Hampton also hosts pupils from Clarendon School on Friday afternoons during the summer term, offering Rock Climbing, Athletics and Cricket coaching.
