21.11.14: External (portal) access to school email is not available this weekend. IT apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can now access the VLE, network applications, documents and e-mail from anywhere outside the School. Please read the instructions below, and click on one of the links:

 >> FOR E-MAIL:

You do NOT need to install anything to access your e-mail via Outlook Web Access. You also do NOT have to use the Citrix Portals just to view your e-mails – please simply follow these instructions:

SCHOOL MAIL – click on the link https://mail.hamptonschool.org.uk/owa and enter your usual username and password

>> FOR THE CITRIX APPLICATION PORTAL (J Drive access):

FIRST TIME USER:

Please click here to download and install the Citrix Receiver client for your computer:

Once this has been installed, please click on the link below, and use your normal School network log-on details: https://portal.hamptonschool.org.uk 

If you have an Apple iMac (or other Apple PC product) and experience Certificate errors, please read this guide. In the event that this does not resolve your problem, please contact us on the portalhelp@hamptonschool.org.uk email address

>> FOR THE VLE:

Access to the VLE is now via the Citrix Application Portal, where you will see a new icon for this – Quick Links (with the basket icon, then the “J Drive” link)
 
 
If you still have problems please contact IT Support – Portalhelp@hamptonschool.org.uk and include screenshots of any error messages/codes that you get.  We can then try to assist with the problem you are experiencing.
